How can I register with DOT?
You’ll need General Liability, Workman’s Compensation and a Permit Bond to start. For a full list of required items, reach out to discuss.
What kind of DOT permits do I need?
Email us your plans and we’ll let you know! Each project is unique and requires a custom permit list. Remember everything that is more than 3 feet beyond the property line requires a DOT permit.
Do you process DOB applications?
We’ve partnered with an architect who is more than capable of handling all your Department of Buildings filings, approvals and post approval amendments.
Do you do contract work?
Contract jobs with MTA, DOT and Parks Department are definitely one of our favorite types of work. These jobs require all hands on deck and are typically time sensitive with a whole lot of people involved. We review contract drawings that can be several hundred pages in length.
Does my project require outside agency approvals?
We review your project for compliance with other city agencies that include Department of Buildings, Landmarks Preservation Commission and Department of Parks and Recreation.

How long do my DOT permits last for?
DOT permits last anywhere from 30-90 days. A valid DOB Work Permit is required to receive any permits longer than 30 days.
